The Language Activities of Daily Living Series

These programs offer detailed, exploratory environments in which children and adults learn about objects and activities encountered in daily living routines. This series builds functional language skills and increases independence.

These programs:
• Train over 300 functional vocabulary items
• Increase understanding of objects and their functions
• Build independence in the home, community, and school

Suggested for individuals (Pre-K through Adult) with:
• Autism, developmental disabilities, language-learning disabilities, low vision, hearing impairments, TBI, and aphasia.
• Also English language learners (Pre-K through Adult)

Product Description:
Each program uses six engaging scenes to train over 100 common vocabulary items. You can train all of the objects in a particular setting or select specific items to be targeted. My House screen My House
This program helps children and adults develop independence in their homes. They'll learn over 100 vocabulary items found in six different rooms: living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and utility room. Pricing information

Four Activites for Each Scene

Discover NamesChooses an object and the computer says what it is ("This is the stove."). 

Discover Functions/Descriptions
Select an item and the computer says what the object does or gives a description of it ("You can use scissors to cut paper.")

Identify Names The computer asks you to find various objects according to their names ("Find the sidewalk.").  

Identify Functions/Descriptions
You are asked to find an item based on its function or description ("Where do you hang your clothes?").
